Health checkup appointments could only be made by phone, and were only available during the day on weekdays, forcing residents to wait long periods of time on the phone. Staff also had to spend a lot of time on appointment bookings, and problems such as incorrect and duplicated appointments frequently occurred, resulting in a serious decline in work efficiency.
System Overview
We have developed an online reservation system that is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When residents enter their date of birth, gender, address, etc. on their smartphone or computer, the system automatically determines the health checkup menu they are eligible for. Availability is displayed in real time in a calendar format, and intuitive operation allows residents to select the desired date and time and instantly complete a reservation.

Convenience for citizens has improved dramatically, allowing them to easily make reservations at any time. The amount of phone work staff have to do has been significantly reduced, allowing them to focus on more important citizen services. Reservation errors have also been eliminated, and administrative processing has become more efficient through automatic data aggregation, bringing great benefits to both the local government and citizens.
